The Mastermind

Two days of meaningful connections

We are so excited to have you join us for our first ever Coliving Hub Mastermind at Coconat in Germany from January 10-12, 2020!
We are going to spend two incredible days together. We will meet other coliving operators, build wonderful relationships, have meaningful conversations, work on your business goals and most importantly deepen our knowledge while having fun!

Where we stay

Coconat is a successful coliving and coworking space close to Berlin, Germany. It is the perfect place to hold this intimate event: secluded in nature and yet easy to get to. Coconat has been an inspiration for the Coliving Hub team for a long time and we think that this is the ideal coliving space to inspire other operators. You’ll have the option of staying in a private room or a shared room depending on their availability and your budget.

A one-of-kind meetup of

Coliving operators

What to expect

We want to create an inspiring and relaxing weekend for everyone. We won't have intensive days where you are expected to work day-and-night and be exhausted by the end of it. Instead, it will be a time where you can truly connect with others, have meaningful one-on-one conversations and connections, and get inspired by the group.

Build  deeper connections with other founders. We limit the group to 10 participants.

Morning and afternoon sessions of deep dive into various topics of Coliving.

Two nights accommodation in dorm, twin or private room at Coconat

The Facilitator

Originally from Bavaria in Germany, Marlies traveled through Finland and Southern Italy and decided there was no place like home... or sort of.  She settled in Brandenburg, where she found COCONAT. After 8 months of working as a volunteer, she became the Volunteer Director and then joined the General Management Team. As a part of the General Management Team, Marlies organizes and manages the day-to-day operations at COCONAT.

When she is not working at COCONAT coordinating the Coliving Exchange, she is hosting mastermind groups and facilitating skill exchange evenings. For the last three years, she has studied personal growth and coaching methods and is currently getting her certification in the Canfield Method. This knowledge has led her to develop Empowerment Workshops for young people. She is well on her way to becoming a full-time Transformational Trainer. Until then, she is very excited to be a part of the first annual Coliving Hub Mastermind!

Thanks to everyone that attended.

How frequent are counselling sessions?

Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes, usually weekly but can be flexible to suit your needs or financial situation. There is no minimum or maximum limit to how many sessions I offer as each person and situation is different and I will respect your decision to end counselling when you feel ready to do so.

Who is present during a counselling session?

Counselling sessions are on a one to one basis only. I am unable to offer group or couples therapy at this time.

How much will it cost?

Counselling: Sessions are £50 per hour, paid by cash on the day. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact me to discuss further as I can be flexible with fees. Supervision: £55.00 per hour/£75.00 per 1.5 hours

What if I need to cancel?

I understand that there are times when sessions need to be cancelled and I ask that you give as much notice as possible. I will not charge for cancelled sessions with more than 24 hours’ notice.

Will you talk about me to anyone else?

Counselling is confidential unless you disclose something that implies that either you or someone else is at risk of serious harm or if there is a child protection issue, in which case we will work together to get the necessary help and support. Please see the attached working guidelines for full confidentiality policy.

Will you tell me what to do?

No. I am not going to tell you what you should be doing or give you advice. Counselling gives you the space and time to explore your situation and help you work towards your own solutions at a pace that is right for you. My role is to work alongside you to reach your own potential, free from judgement, criticism and expectation.

What if I don’t think counselling is working?

I believe in collaborative working and aim to provide a relationship that is genuine, honest and where you feel safe enough to be open including saying if you feel counselling is not working. In this instance I would welcome your feedback and address the issues with you.
