Sales and Sponsorship Manager

Job Description

The Sales and Sponsorship Manager position with Coliving Hub will provide support for all company verticals including development, admin and events. The strategy and execution of our sales and sponsorship activities plays a critical role in the overall success of the organization and we are looking to bring more consistency and expand  our  opportunities  with  the  creation  of  this  role. An  ownership mentality and positive, can‐do attitude is a baseline requirement for all Coliving Hub team members, as each is an ambassador of Coliving Hub to our members. 


This role involves responsibility for developing and maintaining a sponsorship program in order to meet or exceed the overall business objectives. Responsibilities include sponsor prospecting, proposal customization and presentation, contract revision and servicing, sponsor follow-up and support, and researching and recruiting new sponsors. Working closely with the events team, the sales and sponsorship manager will carry out income generation activity, primarily through sponsorship and exhibition income for our programme of conferences and events. 

This is a part-time remote position.

You will be contracted as a freelancer and a compensation of 20 Euros per hour will be rewarded.

An approximate of 5 hrs/week of work is expected. You will also receive a 10% commission on each sponsor brought into the organization.

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited) to: 

  • Building on excellent relationships with existing sponsors

  • Researching and networking potential new sponsors to secure successful new sponsorships and partnerships

  • Preparation of presentations and business cases for new sponsorship inquiries

  • Negotiating and contracting terms of agreement for new sponsorships

  • Client management

  • Managing the delivery of contractual sponsor benefits including the sponsorship of specific artistic programs, the sponsor’s exhibitions items, hospitality requests, marketing benefits, and onsite promotions.

  • Manage the delivery of sponsors exhibition marketing material including catalogue, website, invitations and advertisements while working closely with our Design & Web Managers

  • Planning and development of the sponsor component of social media, digital media and general media in consultation with the Marketing and Web Managers.

  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing & Web Managers to ensure our sponsor-related marketing is considered, timely and implemented in line with sponsor contracts

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate some knowledge of marketing and sales

  • Understanding of event management

  • Excellent in verbal and written communication in English

  • Well versed with Microsoft and Google tools (Office, G Suite)

  • Knowledge of the Coliving/Hospitality industry

  • Has experience with working remotely

  • Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed

  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary to prioritize multiple initiatives and projects

  • Work well with a team
