Social Media Manager

Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a volunteer position for approximately 5 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months. 

You will work together with the Marketing and PR manager and support her in creating relevant content planning for all of Coliving Hub’s social media channels in order to promote our services and our members.  

You will be in charge of creating, planning and sharing the social media posts on Facebook and Instagram, as well as increasing followers and engagement. 

Minimum 6 months
1 month trial period

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited) to: 

  • Creating contents for posts and stories on Instagram and Facebook (copy and design using canva) 

  • Using our content, re-sharing from our partners as well as creating our own and promoting our events, offers and members.

  • Creating monthly calendar of posts across all social media channels

  • Following relevant accounts and gathering information on the topic of Coliving

  • Increasing following and engagement on all platforms 

  • Reaching out to new members/followers to promote our membership 

  • Moderating the Facebook community page

  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing & Web Managers to ensure our sponsor-related marketing is considered, timely and implemented in line with sponsor contracts

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate some knowledge of marketing 

  • Understanding of social media platforms 

  • Creative, resourceful and good with words

  • Knows how to use Canva or other tools for social media design/sharing/planning

  • Excellent in verbal and written communication in English

  • Well versed with Microsoft and Google tools (Office, G Suite)

  • Knowledge of the Coliving/Hospitality industry

  • Has experience with working remotely

  • Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed

  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary to prioritize multiple initiatives and projects

  • Work well with a team
