About the event
Our guest speaker, Erwin Groenendijk has been involved with the coliving industry for the past 2-4 years and is the CEO of My Blue Bricks in Barcelona, Spain. A Coliving community of likeminded peers leveraging the power of many and learning together along the way. They facilitate various types of real estate projects as well as real estate management & consulting services.
Their company stands for secure investments into something tangible, physical: "A brick. A brick cannot be moved easily, and does not evaporate just like that. A brick is there to stay, and so are we." They grew immensely in this last year and look forward to building and continuously perfecting their systems, brand and structures. Their plan is to grow to at least double the size, this year, with 300 rooms.
In this talk, Erwin will be discussing their experience during COVID times; dealing with less margins and being presented with opportunities that were not possible before. This will be a case study of Blue Bricks Coliving and their current experience managing 150 rooms in Spain, from the struggles and wins that came out of this pandemic.
