About the event
What if the key to deeper community integration lies in a paintbrush, a pottery wheel, or the shared joy of a local theater performance? In this session, we’ll explore how Pitaya Coliving in Lanzarote draws from the island’s raw volcanic beauty and rich artistic spirit to spark authentic connections between residents and locals. By infusing everyday life with creativity and cultural exchange, we’re building bridges that go beyond tourism—fostering trust, collaboration, and a true sense of belonging.
After years of traveling the world, Laura discovered her passion for community and the deep sense of belonging it brings. Along the way, she met countless digital nomads, often without a place that truly felt like home. Without knowing it, she began shaping one herself, long before she ever heard the word “coliving.” In 2022 she founded Pitaya Coliving, bringing that vision to Lanzarote, an island she felt deeply connected to and now calls home with her family. These days, she doesn’t travel as much, but through the stories, laughter, and everyday moments shared at Pitaya, she feels like the world still comes to her doorstep.
